Commando is the name given to our fragrance-free line of high-quality grooming products. The only smell will be those of the natural oils, waxes and butters with no added essences.
Why name a scent Commando? Many people desire products that are purely functional without the addition of fragrances. Some simply do not want their "soap" competing aromatically with their favorite colognes and perfumes. Ever conscious of the needs, wants and desires of our customers, we decided to create fragrance-free versions of all our grooming products.
Finding the perfect shaving soap can take forever, but after countless hours or research, testing, reading reviews all over the internet, etc. I came across with this company and I’m happy to say, I’ve found it! produces a wonderful lather, and leaves my skin feeling like velvet, I’m now testing their shaving oil that btw smells amazing. Cheers
This soap does not lather like the big name luxury soaps, but it makes up for it in spades with incredible slickness. Given the beautiful glide and respectable ingredients, this soap should be on your short list of soaps to try. It comes from an outstanding small U.S. company.
I received it as a gift from a friend of mine, and I had never even heard of it, until it got here. This soap is a wonderful performer. Great lather - slick, dense and very moisturizing, probably due to the shea butter. Cheers!
I have to admit that what I like most about this stuff is the fact that it's all natural and old school. it is really good stuff. with that said, you need to relather often. it dissipates pretty quickly. but that's not really a bad thing. it takes chemicals that are no good for you or your skin to avoid that. and personally, I like shaving pretty much the way they did before everything became toxic. it shaves great and makes my skin feel really good. I have a huge beard and a shaved head, so I can fully appreciate BG products for good or not so good. and this stuff is still much better than anything else I've ever used. besides, relathering is just part of the great experience of shaving with a brush. I said it before about their beard balm and I'll say it again about their shave soap... I love this company and their products.
