These products are amazing for my face and beard! Before i started to use them my face was kinda funny looking. Now, elderly grandma types pinch my cheeks, call me handsome and try to introduce me to their granddaughters! Thanks BROOKLYN GROOMING!!!
It's hard to find a premium matte clay pomade, but Brooklyn Grooming has crushed it with this product. Solid hold, no shine, great scent, and perfect marketing. I bought 3 to make sure I always have a back-up.
I bought the 1oz to give the product a try because I'm really sensitive to perfumes. I have to use all unscented soaps, detergents, deodorant, etc... I have been able to wear some hair-forming clay products in the past that have very mild scents without issue, but the one I had been using is being discontinued, and so I thought I'd look for something truly unscented I could use. The product I bought is labelled "heavy hold", so I thought I'd also share that I would disagree that it is a heavy hold. It's light or medium hold I'd say, based on my experience with other products. I wasn't specifically looking for a heavier hold anyway, as I've found those can leave my hair looking or feeling kind of matted-together or artificial-looking. I let my hair fully-dry before applying this, and I'd say it holds just well-enough throughout the day, and keeps my hair looking dry and natural, while giving me the ability to shape it up and give it some body.
