They’re back — and better than ever. Our Old School Vegan Pomades have returned with a new and improved recipe that delivers the same timeless texture with upgraded performance. If you loved our original pomade, you’ll be stoked to experience this version — it’s gummier in texture, styles effortlessly, and rinses clean with shampoo.
Inspired by traditional barbershop classics, our Old School Pomade strikes the perfect balance of greasy, waxy, and gummy — without petroleum or animal fats. Instead, we blend candelilla wax, shea butter, and castor oil to create a vegan, natural hair pomade that gives your hair a moldable, moveable hold and a subtle, medium shine.
As Sloan shares in our blog, pomade isn’t just for styling — it’s also a conditioning treatment for dry or coarse hair. A touch of this rich, plant-based blend locks in moisture and nourishes from root to tip, creating a protective, organic barrier for healthier hair.
Designed for daily use and travel-friendly, this pomade delivers a light to medium hold and comes packaged in a matte black 2 oz tin that looks as good as it works.

This pomade is 100% natural, and slight variations between batches are part of what makes it unique. During temperature changes, you may notice a light graininess from the shea butter “crystallizing.” No worries — it’s totally normal. Try this quick fix to smooth it out.
