Grooming Tips, Quotes & NoNsense from "Newyorkers of Note"

On the Lower East Side recently we caught up with model, philanthropist and designer (not to mention devastatingly beautiful southern vixen) Laura Kirkpatrick, to ask our favorite celebrity question:

"what is your take on men's grooming?"  

A finalist and fan-favorite in both cycle 13 and the All-Stars season of America's Next Top Model, Kirkpatrick---who lives full-time in Orlando but works frequently in the City---thought for a moment, and then responded:

"I like a man's grooming to have balance. Over-plucked eyebrows or being completely bare down south is a turn-off: you lose your manliness. But never grooming is also a turn-off: it's all about the perfect balance."

 

We couldn't agree more!

Departing in a flounce to her photo-shoot nearby---blackcoffeenosugar in hand---she turned and coyly added:

"Facially, I'm also a fan of beards. Maybe it's 'cause I'm from the South."

 

With that, the little Dixie minx actually made us blush, though we're hoping it was camouflaged by the beard. And off she flitted on another Top Modeling adventure.
